This was my second biggish structure. It was inspired by the Cone Thing: imagine 12 of those pasted together face to face, with all their points in the middle. These photos don't show that very well, but they do show some of the neat views from different angles.
This isn't any polyhedron per se, but it's very dodecahedral. The 20 outermost points form the vertices of a dodecahedron, and it has icosa/dodecahedral symmetry.
This looks pretty bad, but the Lesser Star actually survived this calamity completely intact.
